Elbrus Mountain, Caucasus, Russia |
||
to be continued... |
Caucasus MountainsTerskol, Kabardino-Balkaria, Russia
Unique, beautiful, exciting place where you could ski practically whole the year. Besides the highest point of Europe - 5642m. (Normally season starts in the mid of November and lasts until the mid of May). You may ski from altitude about 4200 m down to 2350 m! It needs no commences! For me it was love from the first sight... Last time I was there in 2001. It was in May and we get there together with my wife by own car (about 1200 km). So... it is a long and exciting story - I shall tell it soon. Now -some pictures from Elbrus Mountain.
